If the fans never shut off (with or without a relay) it has to be the thermo switch locked in the 'on' position. Or if it IS cycling then it might be faulty and just coming on at a lower temp? Got another to try? Or it may be fine and the coolant is hotter than you think? (assuming fans aren't on, o...

Phiz, my experience says no prob at all running the EA Rad with an EJ. Mines an EJ22 bored to 2.5 and has no cooling issues at all, but I am not running fans on outside of Rad on the condenser. I know they lose their efficiency big time that way, but also know the space issue for fans on the engine ...

Just found this old post. Just to clarify, from this post I am reading the Brumby had a heavier rear torsion bar than the Wagon. Is this correct ? If so, anyone have any specs on both bars ? Is there any advantage in fitting a Brumby torsion bar to the rear of a Wagon to give a heavier spring rate ...

Did you solve this problem mate? I reckon you might be right with the assumption of a bad earth. You can get all sorts of weird stuff going on (like the examples you've given) when the earth wiring is not connected right. There is a thick black wire with a round connector (for screw) on it, which ha...

Great to see you're tackling the problem I have with my 'Brumboid' after doing the L series LCA swap, that of the way different track from front to rear. Alas I don't have the necessary skill set to tackle the problem the way you have, so I look forward to the 'kit' becoming available sometime soon ...
