and only if you have a manual license then you can drive either type but with auto it means only auto

Gen3 (1998 ) and later transmissions are different and require a loom change to work. They are identified by the external oil filter on the passenger side of the transmission. Im guessing your car is a 1994 Gen2 and the gearbox you are asking about is from a 1999 Gen3? i dont have any gearbox in mi...
