L Series headlights
Don't know how to post a link. Listed as a universal wiring harness relay kit. Supposedly allows upgrade to 100/90 watt bulbs. The standard 60/55 would probably be kinder to the reflectors and seem plenty bright enough for normal usage.

L Series headlights
Finally got fed up with the dim as headlights and fitted a upgrade loom from http://www.onlineautoparts.com.au Cost $18.90 and took 15 minutes to fit. Voltage at the light went from 9.5 to full battery voltage. Much like fitting HID lights as in plug and play fitting. http://ausubaru.com.au/images/s...

Rack ends
Just been down this path with my L series. The rack ends with the female ends are apparently Brumby fitment. Found out that my L had a Brumby rack fitted sometime in the past. Couldn't source the ends to fit so I fitted a proper L series rack. Rebuild parts are readily available for them from Burson...

Rear bush
When I replaced the diff hanger bush I used a long bolt and nut with 2 large washers through the mount and bush. Tighten nut and bush presses into the mount. Super Pro bush SPF 3005K is the diff pinion to cross member bush which fits my '91 L series. The steel outer bush is removed and binned. Recently bought a set of rotors and pads for my L-series on e-bay from a mob called westenfarmers. Cost was $100 ish delivered. They are at Eagle Farm in Brisbane but I don't know if they allow collection.
