L Series headlights

Don't know how to post a link. Listed as a universal wiring harness relay kit. Supposedly allows upgrade to 100/90 watt bulbs. The standard 60/55 would probably be kinder to the reflectors and seem plenty bright enough for normal usage.

L Series headlights

Finally got fed up with the dim as headlights and fitted a upgrade loom from http://www.onlineautoparts.com.au Cost $18.90 and took 15 minutes to fit. Couldn't source the ends to fit so I fitted a proper L series rack. Rebuild parts are readily available for them from Burson...

Rear bush

When I replaced the diff hanger bush I used a long bolt and nut with 2 large washers through the mount and bush. Tighten nut and bush presses into the mount. Rear bush

Super Pro bush SPF 3005K is the diff pinion to cross member bush which fits my '91 L series. The steel outer bush is removed and binned. Bit of a drama to push the poly one in but lots firmer than the original when finished. I used a long bolt with large washers ( sort of like press plate setup) Onc...

$60 + bucks for the kit, had to buy it though.
Will only need the "refills" next time.
As an option check out Radum.com.au Thread repair kit [RDM-BM94-4060] 5 sizes for $36
