My 2c... Mine came with both 4x140 and 4x114.3 - the latter being drilled out by the previous owner. I haven't seen any others in person with the 4x114.3 modification. I think you will have to remove the roof lining to get to the bolts to tighten it This +1 I had the same issue on my Forester. Replaced the original nuts with Nylocs and threadlocker glue. Be sure to clean out any gunk that may have gotten under it and on the roof so as to not allow any chances for...
