You won't believe what they did to this Brumby...

:!: :!: :!: Warning: Graphic Subaru Destruction Below :!: :!: :!: So a little background: I'm in the UK right now - around the Dorset area. Here they have what they call *basher marathon races* where they get old, dying, rusted, unlicenceable cars and then hammer them up crazy terrain, and race them...

My guess - would be that they had the top section of the trailer off completely - drove them on top, bolted them all down, then picked up the section carefully. Then all they had to do was drop...

Wouldn't be worried about wheel balance unless you're going to be doing some serious speed while caked in mud. Big clags will come off easy anyways...

Them rims are pretty as. Very nice. Might have to get some other hub caps though...

Anyone got a bonnet to suit a 1984 Brumby they want to sell? Ideally it would be brown/fawn colour and in WA. Message if you have one to sell at a reasonable price. Thanks Spin. Maple Beige in colour maybe? I have a white one on a Brumby in my shed... You'll need to come get it within the next 2 ho...

Damn you for living in WA! PS. Can't go wrong with a Forester. Our '05 model has been better than any car our family's ever owned. Come fly over and get it buddy. ;) There's always cheap flights on budget airlines... I'm most specifically looking at the '05 Foresters and the '05 Outbacks... They lo...

Dead on 30kg, only 16 kgs heavier than the bumper and Ali bar that came off it. Ill be keeping track of my fuel economy for the next few weeks to see if there's a noticeable difference That sounds pretty good to me. That's the weight of a spare wheel, or a jerry can or a case of beer. Nothing to wo...

Changing things up!

Looking at changing up what I'm driving day to day. Something newer and with a better range between fuelups since I am doing a lot of 3+ hour driving trips these days. Not yet a sales advert, but I guess a notice to sell? So I am considering selling my Brumby at some point over the next few months. ...

Yeah we definitely earn a lot more than other countries. I hear stories about how much most Kiwi's make an hour and I shudder. Suppose we all best get mining jobs. ;) I know I love mine...
