Back in my life again!!!

Well, after selling my pride and joy back in 2014, it was time to get another Forry. Life has changed a bit over the last year, with the arrival of our first child in Jan. This gave me perfect fodder to purchase another Forester!! Safety, reliability, comfort, familiarity.......you know how the hard...

Hey there Tigger. Thanks for the reply. I'll be sure to check that out. Yes, I sold her about 7 months ago to a guy up in Brisbane. Was sad to see her go, but the guy that bought her is into going places in her, so at least she went to someone who appreciates all the work (and $$$$) I put in. Cheers!

Hey Pedro. Unfortunatley when the SubaXtreme bars are installed, they cut the front bar in half and use the top half and they remove the rear one all together. Sure I might be able to get more for the individual parts, but this is a perfectly set up car for someone who wants a very unique car that's...

I understand that 215/70/16 BFG's won't fit in the spare wheel well so I'm interested to know how you are carrying a spare tire? Modified spare well? Future rear bar with carrier? On the roof? I'm looking for ideas... Hey there. I got a rear bar fitted at the same time as the front. Here are the pi...

Hey everyone. The blocks i bought are the Subtle Solutions blocks from the US. My XT is an auto. Lazy man's car, but I still love her. With the BFGs on the fuel consumption is still ok. I usually get about 12L/100km. Mind you, I put the tyres on when I'm going off road, so my fuel consumption shoots...

Frugs lifted Suby Forester XT 2005

Hi guys. Just thought i'd share some pics and info of my car since i've done all the alterations to the suspension. I was a newby, and still am, so I'll go through what i've done. I'm not mechanicly minded, so i do a lot of investigating to see the real benefits from alterations I've made. If you ar...

Suby drivers in Victoria: Trip out to Toolangi Sunday 14th July

Hey there everyone.

I know it's short notice, but planning a day trip out to Toolangi this Sunday 14th July.

I'm not down with all the tracks out there, and their condition, so it'll be a "see how we go" kinda drive. Should be a bit wet too, so loads of fun!!

Any takers??

Cheers
Doug.

There's prob a few more small things i'd like to do. Maybe a 1 or 2"body lift, just to get some clearance on the side panels. An LSD might be a possibility, but i'f heard that they aren't all their cracked up to be. I'd much prefer to get lockers (if they even make them for a Suby). A few accessorie...
