Hi all, finally got the replacement ej22 into my lib. thanks to all ho helped out with that. ran a bit rough... coil pack changed... all good, purred like a kitten:grin: Ran for 5 to 10 minutes whilst topping up radiator. all good.:D Drive out of the shed grand total of 6 metres and the engine start...

Hi guys, thanks for all your help:)
there was a small bracket at the back of the gearbox that was holding it all together. Duh!! got her all apart and put the motor in to the Liberty.... all good.

Whats the trick with the clutch lever????
Hi all, Im trying to split an EJ22 from a front wheel drive manual gearbox so i can put the motor into my gen 1 lib. problem is that the driveshaft wont release from the clutch cos i cant remove the clutch lever from the thrust bearing. is there some tricky clip or bolt holding it in there?? i assum...
