I put an ea81 t into a brumby many years back, I did use the ea82t component (lil rectangular steel box with 5 wires comming out of it if I recall)e your talking about, unfortunatly i don't have diagrams of what I did but I know it was succesfull,

Things are looking sweet in my workshop now, finally got the lathe i have wanted for the last couple of years. Next some more benchwork and storage, A milling machine and a Mig, Will be subie mod central. If you need some turning work done at a reasonable price drop PM me
