When you think about it a Vivio isn't really that much bigger than coughing up a good sized lougie ;)

Hey Jordan, thanks for the quick reply! As in both connected at the same time? Yes both do need to be connected or you'll get nothing. As in the wiring is unable to carry enough load as is? Seems a bit strange that I would need to boost up the juice for a fairly mid-range head unit. What do you mea...

The most common issue I've seen is not having Accessory AND constant power connected to adequate sources, in modern stereo's the both need a decent power rail.

If your talking about what I think your talking about it is essentially and electromagnetic clutch.

When power is applied to those 2 wires it engages the compressor with the drive pulley, without power the pulley is just a glorified tensioner and provides (almost) no resistance.

Did this model still have the Dual Mass Flywheel? They work well in theory but in practice there were a lot of issues with these such as not engaging properly, not disengaging properly, etc. Apparently some Subaru dealers will do a solid flywheel conversion at no charge even outside of warranty, as ...

From memory it's standard "lefty loosey, righty tighty" procedure, but it has been quite a while, if you're lucky it may even have +ive and -ive markings on the top.

Just minor adjustment of the tension on the bi-metalic spring, it's the brown plastic cap on the side, loosen the 3 screws holding it down, turn it a little, tighten, take it for a run, then adjust and wait for the next morning before I could test again.

Eventually got it perfect.

That someone would be me, the increased sizes made it go a lot harder, especially with the manual secondary mod, sorry no idea what the stock sizes are. I didn't notice any significant increase in fuel usage, still averaged 10L/100km using BP Ultimate/Shell VPower. I also had an MSD Blaster ignition...

Paint them gloss black and get a set of chrome dress trims, this is what I did on my celica when I wasn't prepared to buy a set of rims and they came up a treat.

Some of the slim uniden models have the option of a flush mounting bracket and surround kit that will mount it into your dash pocket and look almost factory, depending on your dash colour.

The gemini clutch plate was to be used with the standard EA81 pressure plate if for some reason you didn't want to replace an 8" EA81 flywheel with the EA82 9" flywheel. If you do use the EA82 flywheel or have a 9" EA81 flywheel you just use a standard EA82 clutch kit. The EA82 flywheel will bolt di...

Can pretty well guarantee that it won't be full time 4wd/AWD, it will be part time 4wd, meaning when on the road you have to use 2wd, the same as you have now.

There are AWD boxes available that are a similar conversion but they're much rarer and generally carry a much steeper price tag.

The dual/double mass flywheel's were a nice theory but personally I think they're just a hideous PITA, when the time comes to replace the clutch in my Outback I'll be replacing the dual mass flywheel with an EJ22 flywheel I have and installing a heavy duty EJ22 clutch kit (rough figures about $300 f...

Isn't an auto choke a pain, retro step ?
It took a few goes to get the auto choke setup right but ran like a dream afterwards.
