Anyone know how to fix my 2000 Outback doors - they won't stay open. Even on flat ground, they seem to slowly close themselves.

Looking for new rear shocks for a 2000 Outback, for on-road use only. Any recommendations on type and supplier

The only brake light I have is the centre high mount - no side brake lights at all, either in the tailgate or the body.

I've checked all the fuses and they're fine.

The wife was alerted by another motorist today that her brake lights were out in our 2000 Outback. I've done a check, and the high-mount brake light works fine, but nothing in each side light on the tailgate. Are there meant to be more than one brake lights, other than just the high mount along the ...

Just bought a 2000 Outback Limited, and notice no lights flash when central locking is used - is this normal? Whilst a bit strange, I assume it must be as the manual makes no mention of it.

Any suggestions -I need some rear seat covers before I put the kids car seats on before they (or the kids) destroy the seat trim. The front has lambs wool, as does my other car, so I'll possibly head down that path eventually, but for now, any other options worth considering? Do standard bench seats...

Ended up going with the Outback. Pretty happy so far, hope it stays that way

It turns out the Liberty was sold before I had a look, so down to the Outback for now. It's had the head gasket done - not sure if it was preventative or not. All in all, looks nice, drives great, other than lacking log books, seems a good thing. Any idea when timing belt is due for these? I notice ...

The Outback had the head gasket done a couple of thousand km ago - invoice to show for it. Not sure if it's the twin or single - how would I tell?
