Quick trip down to the wreckers, quick spray of contact cleaner and she's running as smooth as butter :) Was also a radiator out job which l...

Hey, is the dash light coming on with the engine not running? If it isnt make sure its not a blown light. Not sure how the EJ system works but with old school alternator setups, the alternator has an excite coil which energizes. That coil allows the alternator to start charging. After it starts cha...

Bunbury - Albany.. just around the corner :) The other thing to do, is buy a small trickle charger that you leave on overnight but this isn't fixing the problem, just helping until such time. haha a 6 hour long corner ;) I started it this morning fine, started backing down the driveway and the splu...

2 things come to mind when I read this. First one is aftermarket immobilizers.. these things are known for their ability to suck the life ot of any good battery. The second thing I'd check, is the alternator is not getting a feed back. Usually a good auto sparkie can check this for you and fit a di...

I spose I'll continue the car off from here. After owning Maple for almost a week she's surprised me good and bad. Second time in 2 days she hasn't been able to hold charge in the battery even with a new one in it, alot of clicking coming from the fuse box even when the key is turned to ACC ON. Can'...

I havent had this fun experience yet but cant wait. In fact, on my last trip I got bogged in thick mud & as I was trying to get out it kept sliding closer to a 4' deep gully. A Nissan pulled me out snatching off his towball! :( Your time will come =] Everyday coming in and out of home there's a sma...

Smiled and waved and kept going, was more a test session so I did end up getting Maple bogged on purpose later on down the beach, just to see what would happen, sure enough, reverse back, and kept going again. Defies logic this car haha. And pics will be for sure coming, gonna be abit of a trek, but...

If it's the beast in your avatar, then I'll be watching out for that thread :) I'm sure my son will too, as it looks like the model he likes. It's funny how once you've owned a Subie, you end up sticking with them Yep that's her there, I seen Jay-Jay have a perv on her curvy bum when they met ;) Da...

Sounds good. Maple will get you to many places some of the larger 4WD won't but horses for courses. Your WRX will definitely feel loved. Tell us more about it? maybe start a new thread and pics are always good :) I've got one myself that doesn't get out much, much to the disgust of my son. Will pro...
