Thanks to you both for the info.
Proceeding with rebuild - today I discovered sway bar rubbers and rear engine (gearbox) mounts all shot. Very little maintenance had been done on this little Suby in 120,000kms.

Hi all
Are EA81 heads interchangeable side to side?
They seem to be identical, but have different casting numbers (16 vs. 9).
I got the heads back from reconditioning and as I was about to assemble them, I began to wonder...

Brumby gearbox selector seal
Hi all~ Can someone explain the procedure for replacing this seal, and also apart number? I'll do the sleeve split and bolt on the selector shaft, and finally fit the bushes I got from Frog about a year ago! The replies I've seen here seem to mainly suggest whacking in a 5-sp., but that isn't an opt...
