yep job done, the 05 crank pulley had 6 teeth the 99 had about 70.

yep looks like the crank pulley is the culprit.Looked down through sensor hole appears to be different. haven't had time to do the job yet. will keep you posted as to how i get on.

No mate was just heading down that path to look at timing. just taking both timing covers off to see what i find.
did you just change the crank pulley or both cam pulleys as well ? would have thought they would be a set
