I have had the nut strip the axle/cv threads before so it can be done. I used correct torque specs too... Was not fecking happy! Cheap CV I guess.

Engines will always fill up with water/moisture if they are left sitting. I once recommissioned a EA81 that had been sitting in the weather for 18 months or so... Seriously, there is no need to use secondhand windscreens when you can still buy them new.

I find the $600 that is regularly asked for complete power steering 'kits' rather excessive when you can often pick up complete MY touring wagons for $500 -$1200.

I suppose you will have to get rid of the left overs but a wagon will supply a lot of extra spare parts.
