G'day. Well the old L series has gone and number one son is proud owner of 92 Lib wagon and loves it! First cab of the rank was CD player (of course!), now maybe a set of wheels, and window tint. Liberty Air Con
Air con in 1992 liberty seems to be intermittant? One minute cool then not. Could it be the extreme temps over last couple days or ?regas needed. Is it normal in extreme weather. Seemed to be working ok days before extreme temps. Any ideas. Thanks

L series update to Forester?
Number one son has found 2000 model Forester Limited with high K's(270000) at very reasonable price $8000.00. Are the K's too high? The car has log books from Subaru dealer. Supposed to be excellent condition. We going to have a look tomorrow. Will she be good for another 200000K's. Will it suit him...

Thanks L Raiser and AP. He is 90% tarmac and no SERIOUS off road but loves his camping and fishing and would occasionally go bush to remote river for trout fishing or over to the beach. He needs something to get him to work and back comfortably in Melb and then up highway to home. Is there any great...

G'day all, Had drivers side rear wheel bearing replaced about 6 months ago on number one sons 1990 L series wagon. Have noticed that now outside of tyre has worn dramatically. Passenger side no such wear. Noticed also that drivers side rear wheel appears to be leaning outwards at top more than other...

L Series Overheating? Help!
G'day, Does anyone have an idea as to why my 1990 L series is overheating. It overheats/boils in approx. 10 kms. There does not appear to be a leak from a hose or the radiator but the gauge goes up quickly and you can hear a loud "hissing" noise slowly building up? Many thanks Newsoob.

14's without lift kit?
G'day, Have read lots of posts about lift kits, larger tyres and all types of mods. Great reading and a wealth of info. But need to start at bottom. I have stock L series 4x4 wagon. Can I fit 14" rims with 185/70 tyres without lift kit? will they scrub? Should I lift first? (probably only go 2"). Is...
