I think a couple of years ago I was asking ~ 650 for the OE clutch R160 diff . Sounds steep but this is a complete bolt in assembly ready to go . Rocking horse doo doo . That gearbox cost me 1350 and I'm thinking a grand isn't unreasonable considering it is a hybrid of three Vortex Gen 1 Lib and L c...

When I had Ellie the RX Turbo I went to a lot of trouble to reverse Subarus ideas of positive camber and negative caster . Generally people look for lots of negative camber because they think its the racer setup . Neutral or a smidge of positive camber and a swag of positive caster is what works bes...

Discopotato03 out of the ashes .
As some of you would remember I had the white series 1 L RX Turbo known as Ellie . I unwittingly killed it with Subarus own upper engine cleaner and over about a year removed the tastier bits and threw the rolling chassis away . May have seemed like sacrilege but I sunk a lot of time and money into ...

Bye Ellie .
After a year hogging my garage Ellie is gone and the Skyline returns to being parked off street . It went as a rolling chassis but the engine gearbox and LSD are still taking up space . And the wheels radiator and a few black interior trim bits console cluster and surround . I think I have 1.5 Spide...

They would probably be positive offset wheels meaning the hub mounting face is 55mm outwards of the rims center line . If you look at an OE aluminium wheel they generally have the offset marked or cast somewhere on the inner face or maybe the hub itself . If it says 55P it means 55mm Positive offset...

Those rear door trims I think are both there but may not be so easy to get off if they were glued on . I got the starter off and the bellhousing/engine mounting bolts/nuts loose and I may have lined up an engine lifter for tomorrow . With luck engine and maybe box out and thats all the heavy stuff r...

Removed so far is rear LSD , rear disc brakes , twin core radiator , Spider manifold , most of exhaust , custom made larger anti roll bars , heads . Just about to get the t...

Its out of rego now but if someone else wanted to make it complete . As I mentioned I still have its original engine and gearbox and I'm not asking much for them or the rolling shell . if the wreckers get it I get nothing for it - except my garrage back . I'm just selling the desirable bits because ...
