Sure did. About 1hr after getting home. Some moron had taken off one too many vacuum lines when he changed the carbies over. There is a vaccum operated solenoid that engages the lhf drive shaft. As suspected the rh one is always engaged and just waiting for the electric solenoid on the transfer case...

Cars aren't the only thing that use oil. I'll go out on a limb and say 99% of what we all have either has oil in it, on it and used in it's manufacturing process somewhere. Eg...sewing machines need oiling, oil baths for quenching steel, if something you own was transported at some stage...oil!! Bla...

1g is cheap enough I reckon. Have you seen the rrp on most diff locks?

A slight overestimation of the hiluxs ability to traverse what looks like a decent size wallow.

I drive for a living these days and twice last week I was overtaken while going through roadworks. Not to mention the double whites and random other acts of loonacy I see.

The motor trade is a strange breed. I was in it for a few years. If you want to stay with it, sounds like you need to move on. Personally I've moved on, and then on (not by choice) and on....and then on again to what I do now. All in a relatively short time frame. There is nothing wrong with trying ...

Any reason for 29's over the traditional 27 ? Along with the problem of them actually fitting, what about the gearing??
