What is that? 6mm steel? Because that wont be weak as anything. People snatch off bits of 6mm plate in the bigger 4wd's. ideally they Bolt the recovery hooks to 6mm chassis rails anyway. L's and MY's are a cable operated clutch yes. but they are infact a Push clutch. they don't get designated by how the fork gets moved, like your thinking. Move the pedal out first then in ? Got a quote for a same year Outback , flywheel and clutch coz flywheel of dual mass cant be machined $2324.93 just for the parts , no labour, or $1267 for clutch kit tell them to get f***ed. If the Dual Mass Flywheel is ok there is no need to convert to a Solid. you cna easily get away without mach...
