Undo the trim cover under glove box,3 or 4 nylon nuts. take out glove box tray, undo one of the hinges, 2 screws. unplug 2 wire plugs and 3 screws and pull the fan out. 92 GL dual range wagon, 222800km, needs a service, 104km @13.25l (approx from pump), = 7.84km/l with aircon on the whole way @ 110kmh. 1 cylinder down on compression but still just within tolerance. bloody shoody, tune it next week and see what happens.

I have also had Lanolin recommended as it tacks up the same and doesn't smell as much.

Cleaning air conditioning intake and fan ????

Just after a few short cuts (if they exist) in cleaning the accumulated bits from the fan box and aircon ducts. Intake ducts at top of engine bay have been done, long small vacuum hose as far as I can get it and the leaves still rattle he fan. Any suggestions to make the job easier are more than wel...

Im also looking at replacing 1992 L series springs. Does anyone know how far you can increase the length of the springs without doing other modifications? If so suggestions on supplier would be welcomed.

went for the, ceramic white #057 1990-92, and it seems to be a match. A lot more shiny than the rest of the car. Now i am experiencing the joys of trying to paint in winter. The shed had a heater transplant and still the paint bubbled. wet sand when dry and start again on the top coat. cheers mark

just got scorpion 14" rims (thanks Allan, in Brisbane), spent the afternoon at the local Bridgestone centre, best fit with no possibility of rubbing 185/65R14.
