EP-S Air Suspension Lights flashing
Now, I know there has been some discussion on this topic over the years. But can someone definitively say what it means when the EP-S panel flashes both the up and down lamps at the same time? Roughly 2 or 3 times per second http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz13/ajd979/Height%20control%20flashing%...

Got my hands on a DCCD centre and associated transfer case components today! This together with the 5 speed I got the other week gives me the equivalent of and 5 speed DCCD box with wide ratio gears, which is a great place to start. And getting ti all for the cost of a good second hand standard 5 sp...

Currently undertaking a bit of a project so I'm around at the moment :) If anyone is selling non-viscous LSDs for a 5 speed or an R160 rear, hit me up. Especially if its the holy grail front helical diff ;) Otherwise I enjoy a read every week or two but not sure how much I can contribute. I'm a noob...

The Gen1 has a mm less thickness in the gear cog to make room for what I think is a silencer device Yep your right. That 'sub gear' is a quietening device. Found this in the 1992 manual (It explains it right at the end of the text) http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz13/ajd979/Capture_zpssoabtv1l....

Thanks for the response Benny, and everyone else There's a bit of a hold up on the box. Not sure if it's going to come through :( But yeah I have read most of the threads on L series Lo conversions. Wanted to make sure I got that right before I basically binned a reasonable L series 5 speed. So yeah...

6cyl 5 speed lib project
Righto I'm embarking on a bit of a project here. I have a gen 1 liberty sitting in the shed with a standard 5 speed manual I fitted a L series low range in about 2 years ago. All the syncros are shitting themselves, and and I have a plan to transplant a 1st gen EZ30 later on down the track. I have 9...

I was thinking rip one from a 2nd gen wreck. The one I was talking about was stock. Or make one myse...

EJ22 Performance
G'Day Recently rebuilt the EJ22 in my first gen Liberty. Back story: Blown head gaskets, was just going to do those then the valves could do with a grind, then halfway through that found I needed new exhaust valves, then the head job ended up costing $400 so then then may as well do the rings and be...

I just rebuilt my 22, which had 270 on it. I did it because the rest of the car was pretty good and I didn't want to just run another old engine with 150 plus kms and unknown history. Brand new's better :) Not enough time to do anything fancy like finding a EJ25 block, or swapping in a DOHC engine (...

Just did this modification to a Gen 1 Liberty GX Wagon mfg March 1993 3.90 final drive I can confirm that the only modification necessary was milling of the selector fork; the spline length was OK and the front housing and bearing were also the same; All rotating parts were a direct swap. There is n...

Where do you buy get source your NEW Subaru parts?
G'day I have to do head gaskets on my '93 Liberty. So, were gonna pull the engine, refresh the heads, do all the seals, gaskets, timing belt, pump etc. Checked eBay, read a few other forums and there are lots of great gasket kits out there but most of them seem to be in the US and cost almost as muc...
