You should hold your foot flat on the throttle so the engine is on the rev limiter then bang the clutch out in 2nd gear on teh bitumen. Adrian, Could the TPS be mounted on the other side of the Throttle Body? This would make it work the way it used to - ie it will be turning the way it should be. Or could you mount your TB (from the RX) with the TPS on the spider manifold backwards so the butterfly opens the same as the TB on the sp...

Could the TPS causing the surging on my car too? I had to take it off the other engine as it was the one that came with the loom...
