nope have not sorted this out yet will check the colours ok the multimeter thingy will attempt last if all else fails will get back to one and all with an update

I am sure this has been coveres did a search could not find any info doeas anyone know which/what /how to wire 4 speed reverse light switch to 5 speed box, seems 4 speed box has 2 switch thingys wired into a 4 pin square type plug the only thing i can find on the 5 speed is a round type plug with on...

Ok thanks for the info will have to go with adding a bit extra sealant on old gaskets ...Steptoe yep the round ones in the groove .

ERG gasket Brumby wanted

There is a round gasket between the exhaust outlet and the ERG fitting and the engine pipe does anyone know where I can get 2 as everywhere I have tried says no longer available any suggestion for a replacement would be great

Yes will be lubricating the cable that is for sure, where is the hydraulic clutch kit when you need one,
Steptoe... I will probably agree with you about the 82 should have been fitted but this 81 has rebuilt balanced and cam so when I stuff it 82 can go in

Ok thanks to every one who helper me on this clutch problem ....Final outcome, well until I drive it down the road.....I took ea81 flywheel 225m with 23m step old pressure plate and clutch to a clutch specialist, he confirmed that an ea 82 clutch kit would fit the flywheel but was about 2mm out on t...

Steptoe..yep welded brumby acc cable fitting to L series pedal box,, bugger should have never said those couple of words " 5 speed no problems....lol" so I need to find a machinist now on the gold coast to face of 2mm just double checked the flywheel is a 23mm step. ok so all i have to do is have my flywheel machined down on the instep a couple of mm and get an ea82 clutch kit make a spacer for starter motor thanks again,

Hi peoples well just to make things a bit more hectic, I have 2 flywheels they both measure pretty close to 228mm so with this I am thinking 225mm as 8mm is to far from 220mm for a measuring mistake. Thanks for that ok will measure the fly the box came from Japan out of a Ea81 turbo looks the same as 82 box ahh! The joys of building toys, well actually it is my daily driver
