the fold in the tent supports itself, but relies heavily on roof strength. so for your sake i hope its secured very well, as ive had a few tents come back, and had ripped the roof rails off big 4x4's after 2 ppl sleeping in it

i can buy cheap shit that does all that, and you can spend literally thousands to do the same job.

ive got a mid range vms unit in my patrol now, but i payed $2100 for it at the time, but you can get one off ebay for $400 that does it as well
