i had a belt with 200k on it... my laziness made me not bother changing it... you wouldnt believe the damage that can be done at 120 when a belt gives way... i had the advantage of manually adjusted tensioner tho

MY personal opinion is replace i used to replace them on every timing job i did then i skipped it on one and the car came back a week later... jumped 5 teeth due to the tensioner failing... 3 valves and a tensioner later it was fixed... so id do it it isnt worth the risk especially not when coming i...

if you find the right pillow they have a certain filler that is perfect for that... i didnt want that much either but apparently merc owners wanted good sound systems... i guess i would to if i were paying 140-160K for a car

holes in the muffler are illegal like defect to regency illegal but if your going a big sound system why bother with sound deadner... i have a cheap chinese dvd player fusion sub and just short of 1000W of standard becker audio and i cant hear sh_t over that even with my cheapo $10 speaker from cash...

not really its just muffles it which makes it more annoying why dont you just drop some holes in the muffler then you have no need for sound deadener.... you,ll have a sound droning exhaust :twisted:

yup i was looking at a DIY lift on byb i think it was and they made their strut lift out of box steel with the bottom end camber adjustable.... thinking that may be the way

Having ripped apart about 3 Subi's for parts I have a box full of bolts though the longer ones have pretty much all gone, I think I bought about 10 ht bolts all up but 6 of them will be coming out soon ..... possibly all of them as I put 50mm blocks where the ALK would go too, it's amazing how you ...

yea sorta figured after my experience with an excavator shearing drive wheel bolts.... $200 for a couple of short but super thick and supposedly strong bolts... i was originally thinking a long threaded bar and just make my own out of that

buy some air flow meter cleaner clean the afm... if that doesnt work replace the gasket... gannon will hate me for saying this but i had a family friend who had similar issues with her 99 mazda 626... after cleaning the oil out of the plug holes, plugs and leads and replacing the rocker cover it cam...
