Running in oil is designed for the dyno, costs about $30 a liter. The idea is that you do 3 FULL runs on the dyno and then the engine is run in and you can do whatever. My source? RC Performance engines, mate used to work there and thats what they do. http://www.rcperformanceengines.com.au/ The owne...

I converted my EJ20G in the RX to wasted spark ignition. I uses the coilpack from just about any EJ22 or EJ25 that uses an external igniter and it works using the existing EJ20G 4 channel igniter. I mounted mine where the air-con compressor once was. Remove the conduit and tape from the start of th...

Sounds like you should have put a 2H in it. Those things will run on 2/6 cylinders and unlike a subaru motor you don't have to worry about or fix your problems straight away lol Love an old 2H toyota diesel! Nice to hear your story Peter, but I do ask one favor... can we see some pictures? Cheers Cam

There are some good Subaru groups, Willy will know the ones i'm talking about. However I'm back and plan to s...

SuperPro Polyurethane bushes (Dark Blue) This is a list of all the bushes and Superpro part numbers you need to give your Brumby, or MY wagon/ sedan new Superpro Polyurethane bushes. My new RS Liberty rally car has an EJ20G and HKS Turbo. The guy who installed it put a digital aftermarket Temp gauge in. The sensor is installed in the top radiator hose, you cut about 2" out of it and slip the hose over each end, with hose clamps of course and it's all good. Now for this pinging A...

Old school LPG tuning says no more than total advance of 28 DBTDC for sixes and eghts at least. 40 sounds like a beer too many somewhere.... Not sure what he had it at but it wasn't much more than standard. The 40 came from someone who had thoroughly tested the RB30 with LPG and said 40 was as far ...
