There's another thing; roadwrothy, pink slip, rego inspection...how many states have this as mandatory? How often is it required? Funny how I can still happily drive around in a car I've swapped the engine in myself and done this and that to without this "rego inspection"...or maybe I do need one a...

In SA Licence- This is the thing you pay every 5-10 years, carry in your pocket, has your photo on it. Rego- Pay it for the car, allows you to drive your car on the road, (also has 3rd party insurance included?) Insurance- The thing that you pay so that when your car is wrecked you can fix it. Those 2H engines in the cruisers are hard to kill. Get a diesel!!!! Personally I would get a 75 series. The thing with a cruiser is that when something goes wrong, it's not broken, you can bodge it together and it will last ages before any real action needs to be done. I hope your aware of the dodgy...

I will let some others who have these cars talk about them more. My 2c.... The liberty wagon sits very low, lots of space except for rear passengers. 2.5L 4cyl has plenty of power in ours. The low range is barely low, good for the offloading that a car with that ground clearance can do but nothing m...

Your lights dim at low revs isn't bad earths.
Older Suby's don't use relays in the headlight wiring.
In the headlight circuit it loses voltage and so headlights aren't as bright.
Whack a relay or 2 or 4 in there and your headlights will be great!!!

Yeah, he was very picky. LOTS of money yes that paint job is something special Was cheap and Defiantly wort...

I gave my Brumby an oil & filter change. But after that I got a hit of motivation. My brother recently brought this Brumby: http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/13/ha8y2uba.jpg It had a passenger seat bolted in the drivers side which doesn't work too well. I got my original 2 seats that came with my Bru...

See if any of the noise quietness when the oil light goes out. That will be low oil pressure. Do you have the shim washers on the rocker shaft? There shouldn't be any sideways movement. That screwed mine up, meant that they changed after a few minutes of running and that there was unnecessary wear. ...

On startup that would be low oil pressure. More of a big end style "knock"
How much sideways movement do your rocker arms have?

Has the turbo had its 200,000km service?
I hate the silver with a passion.
I know of a guy with an xt, lowered on kings, etc.
Takes it out hooning, does well coz it's awd.
This is after he flipped his na foz.
Lots of fun but drive sensibly.
