Im 15 and had been looking for a Brumby, that wasn't a piece of $h*t and below $5,000. i wasn't looking to hard as I was 14 / 15. When mum finally agreedto the idea, and i started looking propely, it maybe took 6 months. One question why a hatch? If you need the boot room / space by a liberty. Way b...

Well Bryan, Yes in my Brumby I had it backfiring or pinging which is basically just lots of little backfires at once. Sure enough a hole in the exhaust. So i went out and bought some muffler putty (exhaust bog) filled it up, and then used half a coke can with a slit along it, and some zip ties to ho...

Yeah, if its not running to well then you may as well. if you are conserned that it may have a headgasket, cracked, rusted head, or anything like this even in early stages, then some chemytec would be good. if you ever do have a broken gasket and you know what your doing, dont go to subaru. for my B...

While your at it a rdiator flush would help clean out your cooling system, and if there is a broken head gasket (i dought it) it would clean that up to. (but not fix it) To do all this. Carby/injector air filter, oil flush/ change, Radiator flush change. you should get a fair bit of change from $200...

Tim, yes an engine (oil) flush, and injector/carby cleaner would never go astray.
If you need help in how to do anything dont be afraid to ask.

There should be the same for all ej20T's. It shouldn't change. If not Check the engines VIN Number, this will help you with everything. Just tell the guy in the shop what your after, and for this VIN, and it should be all good. I go to car shops for my brumby, they look up the engine number and or V...

If it is not a head gasket, plugs, or leads, or your knock sensor (i dont know anything about it).
I would say it would have something to do with the carby/airfilter, or a stretched accelerator cable.
Hope you find the problem

Yeah i checked, no lip. Bennie's idea of the turn buckle and the tie down loops sounds good. My question now is, would the nutsert go into the wall of the tray verticaly so that it is horizontal? or would you make a plate that comes off the side of the tray horizontally, so that the nutsert is verti...

Thanks Steptoe,
Would you at all be able to upload some pictures / drawings of those ideas.
That would be great thanks.

By the way, any ideas must not be permanant, and must make as little damage to the car as possible.

Thanks
