You can tell it's a twin carb because the air cleaner has 2 wings nut (1 per carb), whereas the stock EA81 has 3. I also may have made some inquiries today ;) 890,000 yen, about $9,300 AUD for the car. Plus your importing costs, taxes etc. Import monster have their own Japanese company so even thoug...

Booked in for front and rear Eibach camber bolts and of course 4 wheel alignment. Hoping to get it tracking down the freeway better. From memory it has about neutral to .25 deg camber. Aim is .75 deg up front and 1 deg rear. Might get them to looses up the LCA mounts to adjust for caster, same for t...

OK so this is happening Friday! Camp and meetup point for Friday is Snowdrift Picnic Area (campground) on the Wirrengren Plain Track in Wyperfeld. It's fairly straightforward to get to Snowdrift from the Patchewollock Road. The rest of the itinerary will be decided as we go but it is a Border Track ...

Mint 1 owner Leone in Japan
Came accross this on IM. 90,000km. Says it's a 1991 but looks like a pre-84 model to me with push button 4WD, earlier steering wheel and dash buttons. The monsoon shields and front aluminium bash plate thing are awesome :p Sweet looking car, I'd love something stock and in this condition  h...

Border Track trip 19th August.
Seems like it has been a while since the last big trip. So just throwing the idea for another Robe trip out there, maybe October which was quite lovely weather last time. Of course Big Desert/Wyperfeld offers lots of good sand as well, old friends those two but like any old friend always worth the v...

Some more love for the new motor. Set me back a fair bit, but feeling good about replacing these tensioners. Suspect that with the H6 motors any wear or damage to the timing chain guides etc results from the premature failure of these tensioners. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/OverBored/H6%2...

There is a technique you can use, I did it myself with my Liberty. http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain Not sure if that article mentions it, but I'm pretty sure you're not suposed to turn anything on while running the negative power through the multimeter because it'll blow the fuse.
