frikken heavy but the honda civic springs seem to be holding up their end. should be very interesting when its all loaded up next week.

The lights are LEDs from i think a chinese company Mighty-boy.com I was lucky enough to acquire them from a mate for free (and the use of my ark welder) :D

I went to Jaycar and some 400V 3A diodes part number: 1N5404. A bit over kill for leds in a 12V system but they do the job sufficiently.

Hey Spike..By 'AU' do mean off an AU falcon?? Just curious..

Also if you fit a massive fan on the front side of your radiator (i assume you dont have A/C) wouldnt that mean you get less airflow at speed which could cause problems? Opinions?

Hooray! Problem solvered.. Got some 25c diodes and put one into the brake feed and one into the park light feed and they are all happy :D as am i lol.

see that dude at the computer in your avatar.. that was me against my rear bumper. lol Ill throw in those diodes when i get them, onto both the park and brake feed wires and go from there.

This sounds good in theory.. But how do i check this with my multimetre? Also are you saying putting that diode in there is the fix?

I'm fitting these Chinese Road-boy LED tail lights onto my tyre carrier cos i got them for free :D They have got the brake and park in the same set of LEDs and a common earth wire. Yeah, what you said sounds right ;) Turns out i had it right to start with. But it was definitely worth going over it again because i found they werent sitting on quite right anyway. Plus i now know exactly how to put the handbrake back together no sweat haha.
