Might need to check your posts, straight away you & others told me to just buy stock ones & the first answer I got to my question was Sven 2.
Helpful advice is only helpful when it is what I was actually asking for.
Got my answer now anyway so time to move on.

Aftermarket doesnt mean super awesome performance mods, just an item that isnt Subaru in this case. I dont want performance gain, would be nice but Im well aw...

Im only swapping mine because the flange is rusting through & held together with long bolts & washers. Pretty sure its the original exhaust too. Hate the stock heatsheilds & just wanted a nice note. Rather not buy another stock set because they are old too. Had equal lengths on my old Forester with ...

Aftermarket headers for L series?
Yes I've searched & read all relevant threads, found there is a Lukey replacement available...but apparently they dont make them anymore. Know of any other manufacturers? I got quoted $220 to make some from scratch, stock diameter coming off the engine into a collector & then plan to go 2" from ther...

Has anyone got a picture or an idea on the sort of exhaust mods needed? I have a couple of stock systems from my old Forester GT & figure I could use them? Way I see it is use the heavy as fark cast iron stock exhaust headers, get a custom piece made for between where the up pipe starts to where the...

No issues r...

Cheers Paul. Did the oil & tranny flush today + put the car up on the ramps to get a good look underneath. Engine oil was putrid, smelt like hair conditioner & was very dark...replaced with 15/40 Penrite Everyday. Gearbox oil didn't look that old but all replaced now, put in Castrol Multitrax +G70. ...

L series cat & exhaust query
1990 L series, EA82, manual. Looking in the engine bay (not enough time in the day to do much more unfortunately) where it looks like the headers merge...big lump of heat sheilds but there is a pipe coming out the top?? It has a hose clamp on it but nothing attached & I can't see what's meant to be ...
