So got the boys from Outer Control around and they fitted a new shaft. Brumby now rides great, I reckon the CV must have been on the way out as the wheel wobble has now gone too.

Yes indeed, been driving around for a few months now inc one trip to Bunbury (160km). The only extra thing to consider is extending the brake lines which I've done.
