I replaced the fuel pressure reg on my EA82T. Couldnt get a subaru one, but a Nissan N13 Pulsar fuel pressure is the same pressure spec as the factory EA82T one.

Lines are slightly different, but not hard to make it fit with a little extra fuel hose

He said their biggest problem was the dual range was the weakest part of the gearbox, they added an oil pump to spray oil on the gears and still h...

Take your fuel injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested, made a huge difference to mine. Squirting not spraying fuel, made the car feel like it was running lean, even though afr gauge was showing way rich. Usually the problem with adjusting the AFM is that it changes the voltage throughout th...

Can you sketch a diagram of what you have done?

Id say it could be solved with diodes, in the same way a strip of diodes is used in auto turbo L series with the auto 4wd when wipers, brake or 1st gear is selected to prevent backfeeds into the other circuits.

Fuel pump will only run when the engine has oil pressure. There is a override button for starting. L series subarus had a black box that took pu...

Carburettor more reliable?

I cant see why not, it would give you an increase in flow capacity. Stick with the carb cams though, turbo cams reduce the exhaust scavenging, which will hurt performance.
