The only time I seen one of these trucks perform was when a fellow member from this board pulled it out of a mud hole. Is it just the fact you want good on road as well as offroad? I know how much a pain it is to drive a subie with big tyres. Oh, by the way, I got thru the same hole in my brum...

You can't use the turbo engines with the old gearboxes. Theres just too much power (that's what I've been told) and you'll rip the box apart. If you want to use the AWD box you can't just have RWD as easy as explained above. Rick Bates drifts a RWD STi. But I don't know what he had to do. And its al...

60 degree in cabin temperature, I think I'd want a scoop too... But really, its on a rally car, why would it only have one purpose? The positive pressure one sounds realistic too. They don't have there windows down and all the vents on the car are mostlikly blocked off, because of where rally cars m...

That wouldn't work for rick bates tho. Drifting a EJ20T? attached to a L gearbox? you'd have to hate the guts outta that gearbox. Anyway. Why the would you want RWD??? :-/

Sorry. I got confused. I saw somewhere that most Libertys have "Cent.Lock" I now relise that means Central Locking, not Centre Locking (which I would think would mean a centre locking diff.) My bad.

People who try and sell things on eBay and dont get anough intrest in it. If they wanted more they should of put more on it in the first place. Or at least a reserve price (but that costs $20 if the item doesn't sell.) eBay sellers trying to trick buyers... :-/

I paid $2900 for my Brumby that had a 2" lift, badly painted 14" sunnies, deul carbies, roughish paint (really rough now!), clean interior, no tonneau or bullbar. This was in SA. Hope that helps you get an idea on what you can sell it for.

AWD box, diff locker?

When a AWD subaru has a "diff locker" does this mean you can lock the middle "diff" so it drives like a old subie does? Or what else does it mean? People are always talking about how AWD offroad is bad, this would make it much better right?
Thanks for any imput.

Sounds like you want to do what I've done. Except I'm going to get rid of my duel carbs some times soon, droping a new engine in. Love the wheels... they remind me of..... mine!
