WTB: MY sedan/coupe wiper switch cover

I need a replacement MY sedan or coupe (NOT wagon) rotary wiper switch - just the black plastic part, not the mechanical switch. Unfortunately I found the electrician who wired up the EJ broke one of the two internal prongs and didn't mention it. When I pulled it down this evening to locate a rattle...

Update from last week as I went back to PAP Campbellfield as 1/2 price day. I grabbed a few bits off the MY but most of the rest is still there (a few of the AC switches are gone, and I stripped out the AC airbox for another Subaru guy). The front bar would have been a good deal, but needed dual hea...

PAP Campbellfield 2-7 : 1983 MY Touring wagon. Has full AC, full PS (except the rubber joint, which I snagged), fast glass. Instrument cluster already gone - rest of dash looked good though (tan of course). I also collected the centre console (high topper). I left the front half as it was a bit hack...

Brumby tailgate end caps q?

A few months back someone here said the Brumby tailgate and bed trim end caps were the same - I found a spare set of the tailgate caps and I don't believe this is correct : http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz18/dfoyl/trim%20clip%20tailgate%20edge_zpstctt93iy.jpg Anyone have a photo of the bed trim...

Had some spare time to get back to fixing up minor things on the Brumby. Refitted the modified Brumby/Forester handbrake after adding a few more bolts attaching the two parts. Searched through the garage finding screws to replace those that had mysteriously vanished while at the electrician's (one f...

Nothing nasty, just random wires left on the floor, and extras (eg. tacho, CEL) tucked behind dash. I'd still like to have a CEL hooked up, one less error to be thrown - already have a spot on the dash for it, where the old choke cable went on earlier models (covered up by a rubber bung on the later...

Removed hand-brake to have it welded up - my bolted-together Forester/Brumby hybrid handbrake is flexing too much so need to get a couple of MIG weld through it. Cleaned up the scrap wiring left behind by auto electrician. Still need to clean up rest of loom wiring, fix EFI fuel pump noise, plastic-...

Gannon, good to see you back here. My Brumby is back up and running, thanks again for your help with the wiring hurdles. If you make the call to go 5-stud, I am working on rear hubs that are superior to the Cr0ssbr3d option. Also have a rebuilt (new seals, painted and ready to install) set of WRX fr...

Insurance companies will use anything they can. Any modification that can be seen to reduce the inherent safety design of the original vehicle is sufficient for them to refuse to pay - and running taller than stock wheels that don't meet legislation will definitely be an "out" for them.

Tom, I am doing a short run of XT6 rear hubs in the coming months if you're interested - the rest of the C-r-oss**** kit you can cobble together easily enough (I did it, twice, so it can't be that hard). See my thread on USMB for progress (I'll be putting together a offer for AUSubaru members once f...

Imlachs (Centre Rd) 26-3: Beige 1983 MY wagon, basic version (not Touring, no AC, no PS). Appeared to be complete except for air filter box. Also a L wagon, also beige. And the usual Forester/Impreza/Liberty/etc suspects.

Go to your hosts file (windows/system32/drivers/etc) and paste it 127.0.0.1 cdn.user-api.com. Now the ads get "sourced" from your local IP address and therefore can't be loaded. This works for all browsers.

Micro tweeters on a-pillar and mid range / bass through the under-the-seat speaker setup could work ok. The speakers in the doors just get muffled, and if you have door pockets it's even worse as the speakers then have to face directly into the seat squab.
