Most subies can fit a large sedan 9 plate battery you just make a bigger strap to hold it.
I have a 460 cca in my Vortex and i ran a light truck battery in my old coupe.

I have a 85 Vortex
At this moment its a Tar hugger.
Located in Armadale.

When i had my auto serviced they told me the 3 speed hyro was the same as the vn commodores minus the electric overdrive
a different version of the old 350 turbo.
Either way there a bland gearbox
