STI lights
Hi Mate They remind me of the sti lights i saw on one of the xt cars at XT.net. It should look cool. Ive been wondering how hard it would be to produce a copy of my dash facia out of fiberglass or plastic. Making a mold from plaster or silicone so its reusable. Cheers Pete

Hi Mate . Nice job on the dash mat, that came up a real treat 8) . The Vortex is looking great. I like the valve caps there a nice touch. All this reminds me that i need to pull my finger out and get started on the rebuid of my Vortex. Cheers Pete

There is another way . Take the T bar shifter off and then click it to the park position then re rout the reverse wires or what ever else you need . take the shifter unit and stuff it in the console or hide it somewhere out of the way. It solves trying to fuss around with the wiring. Cheers Pete

Hi Mate Try changing the coolant for a stronger one like 90 grade. Wire up the fans with a remote switch , but makw sure that there wired on the ignition side so they dont run when the cars turned off. A large oil cooler would help. The thermostat of choice is as low a temp as you can get rememberin...

Hi Mate
The paint will be fine, i used some on my engine in my mini cooper.
It lasted years and didnt discolour at all.

Hi Mate With engine off, you need to disconnect the TPS connector located at the throttle body.Measure and record resistance between terminals 2 and 3 with throttle fully closed.Measure and record resistance between terminals 2 and 4 with throttle fully closed , then with throttle fully open terms 2...

Hi Mate. Theres a big screw with a spring on the base of the carby facing the radiator.Turn this one half turn to the left. theres a small screw with a spring on your accelerator cable turn this to the right untill the engine idle increases slightly.
