I dont think anyone has mentioned this so far in this thread, Scangauge II, http://www.scangauge.com/ I believe reading this on another site that this diagnostic tool has the ability to correct the computer (speedo) to tyre size. I know this is a bit more expensive than the Jaycar kit, but it is suc...

Hey Subafury, I know what you are putting up with. I made the decision 6 months back to flog the EA82T L-Series while I was ahead and it was still running good with no apparent probs at the time. I too was sick of fixing **** and finding 20y.o. parts that were too rare locally, then the time spent f...

Sorry fella’s based of the final details we’re out. My only suggestion is (and I am sure you have already) make sure you know what the tide is doing. Last time I did this stretch of beach we did not check, the tide was up it was very soft and very boggy and very hard slow going. Tell me about it, t...

I towed a car trailer with a dismantled shed on it along South West HWY behing the stocko 1981 MY, EA81 in summer too for about a 250km round trip. I sat on 100kmh unladen and 80 on the way back. Mind you there were no real hills on this journey. Was a bit of effort to get off the mark, but did it o...

I have a problem with that security guard, I think he's gay or had a sex change, and an exhibitionist. Wears '90 clothes, seems to spend a lost of time in doors as he has no tan, shaves all his body hair off. Probably signed a AWA by the working conditions he has to put up with, and got no compo for...

I believe King Springs offer something similar, but as I read somewhere, the Heavy Duty ones are standard height, but dont compress under the vehicle weight as much and lift by 30mm anyway, but will be a stiffer ride due to spring rate. I will be doing this to my Foss as it will get a bit of towing ...

I never solved it properly (I have since sold the car a year ago). It did improve but got like this at times in warmer weather. I had a good accl pump (diaphram part of the Weber Kit) and I thought 32/36DGV were mech secondaries? Yeah Float height was checked ok when apart when rekitted. Vacuum leak...

Shop around and see what is locally comparable. That price is ballpark for that model. Some yards whack it on a bit to negate the trade in, but some vehicles that are optioned will fetch more anyway. Try and negotiate at the end of the month, as they want their monthly quota and you have some bargai...

I know that they are not either, but if someone is interested they may find out what the seller is on about, I think its over priced, I got my 2nd hand one for half that price.Matatak wrote:Subanator. how can it suit an Lseries or a Brumby tho i thught they werent interchangeable.

Triple J full metal racket Tuesday nights is the best =) I like the Homegrown and Blues & Roots on the other nights too, infact I listen to Triple J nearly any time I can, especially like now when on the computer. Sorry as I understand it a narrow band is only good for cruising to achieve a perfect stoichiometric 14.7:1, so under boost you dont want to lean out on a turbo lower than 13.5. A wide band sensor (4 wire) is what you want for monitoring really as it will cover a bigger range. J-car kits can be made...
