A brother of a bloke at work got a group build on Megasquirt 2 for his turbo Rodeo, he was real happy with it. Can do on road loop tuning with it, can change point mapping and scaling real simply also, but may need a decent A/F ratio meter to calibrate. This is how they did it. I would pay a visit t...

I agree with discopotato03, I had in my old EA82T a brand new standard radiator and it worked great, A/C on on hot days, no worries. A partial blocked radiator will drop flow by even 20% will cause problems, imagine a 15yo radiator thats never been flushed or had the caps off and rodded out?? Do you...

my Brumby (the red one anyway) has no fixed fan so uses two electric ones. This may have been part of the aftermarket or at the dealer air cond installation stage. The second fan was wired in to kick in with the air. Since deleting the A/c i still run the two fans, the A/C as a manual over ride onl...

im i right in saying that rising rate fuel pressure regulators are used for charged vehicles and normal ones for N/A? also do people get better combustion/power from adding one of these to their system?, i understand u'd prolly need an aftermarket ecu. or to get them to work properly do u have to r...

I rebuilt my PS rack on my L series a year back, and rekitted the power valve with a genuine Subaru part kit from around $70. There is another kit just for the lower arm seals, and would be simpler to do, but i dont think that is your problem. The rack and pinion are just that, a rod and arms with a...

Cool nice to see she is being used well! Why go with such a puny lift kit though? Any reason? Go a propper 3" at least! I thought the Kings 25mm more height plus 2" lift kit thats available off the shelf (from somewhere else not mentioned) would give me 3" ? Looks like there may be enough stretch i...

HAHAHA that is wicked you both having 95% the same car, that last pic just sums it up, sounds like an awesome buy, I really like those few years with the Forries and that shape. Ah that isn't a Barbie doll wedged in your bros front grill in the second last pic? :D LOL, not a barbie doll, but one of...

Subanator - MY03 Forester X
This is my third Subaru and another evolution in models from previously owning MY and L Series models. I took some time deciding whether to go for an Outback or Forester. I thought a Series 1 or 2 Liberty to lift and transplant an engine would be where I would end up, or even an earlier high miler O...

EA81 !!!! I am a little disappointed, but impressed by the rest of the job. However in reality it has no advantage off road due to being overgeared to buggery with the tyre size - street cruiser/offroad image ??. I know how much this happens when 27" tyres are fitted, cant imagine how that feels wit...

for the ea82t use a top mount...the front mount will always result in a greater amount of lag, AND more expensive in 99% of cases. the best option in my point of view is the water to air RS liberty intercooler..much moore effecient then air to air AND cheapish. AND no need for a bonnet scoop or exp...

Got me car yesterday :):):):) More than happy with the overall feel and attention to detail, got so many knick knack compartments it will keep my son amused for hours! Compared to the past Subaru rides is actually stops and has enough go and a lot more civilised to drive, and for a base model it has...

Thanks Willie, Rhino thats the one I was thinking of, they to sit wider, I have seen them from a distance, but never up close. Will still look at Rola ones also, just need to carry my windsurfers, profile is flatter if 2x boards are side by side than on top of each other. Might just try a bare rim a...

A little something from the Suby dealer
Here is what I picked up today from the Subaru Dealer today, got plenty of ricer bits, looks like it goes a million miles an hour standing still..... http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f95/subanator/STIX-Tunera.jpg Its pretty cool that the Subaru Dealer chucked this for my son with my deal. My son go...
