Just a tip, never use WD40 or any type of oil based lubricant, always use soapy water as it dries without leaving an oily residue, you could end up spinning your wheel in your rim.

Yeah, I like the way he's gone from the mild steel of the reo bar to the high tensile steel of the bolt, must balance out well over the yumps.

Damn that was expensive, more than double the average car price for 1986, I only paid about $7,200 for a brand new RS2000 in 79.

I remember a young girl a couple of doors away getting one of these for her 17th birthday, I felt so sorry for her having to drive such an ugly bright green car, it's funny how opinions change after about 15yrs, I'd have one in a heartbeat now.

Fair enough, I joined the RAC WA top platinum membership a few months ago because I know zero about diesels and the Transit would not exactly be an easy tow, I'd say a similar service to yours.

I had a similar thing happen to my Liberty once while driving it through the dunes, the top hose mount broke off at the tank and I kept driving it for about 30min, hopefully your heads are ok, mine were shagged. I finally gave up on old plastic tanks and bought a new copper brass radiator, still goi...

My WRX was very scary to drive until we lengthened the lateral? arms by 25mm pushing the wheels back by about 20mm, it would just weave all over the road, got 2 for each side, cut them in half (staggered) leaving an extra 25mm on one half and boxing them in, difference was absolutely remarkable, tha...

Limited is usually " limited" to how many they can make. ;)

Try to get a viscous diff out of any WRX, makes a fairly big difference in the dirt but you'll need the correct matching axle set up.

It was all the craze on Perth WRX forum a couple of years ago, most people had success with it, readily available as I nearly bought a can in Carnarvon a few weeks ago but decided to wait till I'm back in Perth.

Water bottle is pretty standard for that age and I think you'll find the headrests have to be removed to lay the seats down, I know I did in the WRX and remember a Foz is just an Impreza with a different body.

What about those 2 pack metal fillers that can be drilled and filed, you punch the holes in your roof down then fill the indentation with the metal filler, hit it with a sander/grinder when it's dry then bog over it?
