What about those 2 pack metal fillers that can be drilled and filed, you punch the holes in your roof down then fill the indentation with the metal filler, hit it with a sander/grinder when it's dry then bog over it?

You can't use LHD headlights in a RHD car, they will blind everyone because they point to the right.

I was reading recently that ebay would rather private sellers used gumtree now, so pretty much new stuff on ebay and second hand on Gumtree as it still reaches Aus wide and it's much easier and cheaper, I recently advertised the double front seat out of my Transit van on Gumtree and the only call I ...

Yeah they were the best looking aftermarket tail lights I've ever seen, I've still got the plug and play Possum Link computer off of it somewhere, had antilag etc. Be careful buying Chinese and Taiwanese coilovers, they are utter crap and if you have any grunt the top of the strut can bend under the...

Bugger I just sold a set of Tein Flex that came off an 01 Bug Eye last Friday, they had about 1,000kl on them since a full $1,000 re-build and I got rid of them for $800, I'd been offering them to people for about 7yrs and nobody wanted them, worth about $3,000 to replace The guy that eventually bou...

If you have a little fraying run a cigarette lighter up and down the belt, I must have done it to 10 different cars to get them roadworthy and never caught out once.

Help needed to store my car in Perth

As above, I've been flat out getting my mothers house ready for sale as we had to put her in a home after a stroke and it's where I usually left my Liberty when I wasn't using it, I'm now living in the Transit van so I can travel ( I.E. not on the verge ) but also will need somewhere to park the van...

Damn, my high roof LWB Transit van uses less than 11 on the highway and probably only 10 around town and my Liberty uses less than 8L per 100kl averaging about 130kph on a country run. I'd say half your problem is the exhaust is too big for a stock 1.8 and not getting enough back pressure, I'd have ...

As for those hooks being placed where they are if you get snatched out of a nasty situation the guy doing it will more than likely end up with your roo bar embedded into the back of his vehicle, attach them to the chassis rails where they should be. Like Paul said, the cop has no idea so just be car...

Welcome, looks like a really nice unit, the only concern is the two black things on the roo bar, probably your tow points but they look pretty lethal and probably highly illegal, they would be over here. If anyone walking past the front of your car rips a chunk of leg off you could be up for some bi...

Trust me, they are on a big block in a very out of the way street and could have been hidden further from the street, I think maybe trying to protect them but a long time ago, the drivers window is 1/4 way down on the side the weather comes from. Paul has the business name and address which I suppos...

Hmmm, I'd just say don't go back ............ but seriously have you tried 1st then reverse, it's a pretty common fix on the 5 speed WRX's boxes and they are all pretty much the same inside, but more than likely a selector fork is bent or it could be something as simple as a worn rubber bush under t...

Yes they do.......personally I think it should be the other way around because it sounds better but back in the old days most cars had \ / positive camber. As a point of interest I came across 2 silver wagons identical to yours sitting under a tarp and camouflage sheet a week or so ago, unfortunatel...
