i was under the impression foresters were constant "high" range all-wheel drive with a low range added.. which begs the question did you drive to the patch of grass in low range? and if not you were in 4wd high range to get there.. i'm confused as to what you mean by not having high range... just HID every light on the car. if your reflectors are okay and dont move around everywhere you will be fine. HID spotlights are absolutely awesome. HIDs are the best and WHEN USED CORRECTLY even if illegal are fine. pretty unlucky for a cop to give you trouble over hids if theyre setup correctly....

thx Gannon, Ok, i think i undrstnd ur diagram...i think lol. But im still pretty nervous cos iv heard of heaps of disasters like no switchng between high/low, indicator light stayng on, etc, when this has bn attempted. & once i start its not like i can just undo it lol. thx Gannon. i will try to decipher this lol. sorry 2b a pain but would you have complete before & after wiring diagrams? from other diagrams iv seen the right & left sides are wired differently! i'm having a lot of probs getting my head around this "different" wiring system! Have you had any problem...

to me, those lines, won't 'see' them after a whle, surely? Sealed beams in the Vortex or H4's? thought the latter was in them. I'd be going them purely for that bounce back reflector thnking it may do a better job. Got a link for them and how much? May need to add relays to your circuits to unload ...
