Sounds like its not getting enough fuel. As you think it could be fuel pressure reg or you have a crank vent valve or line ajar.

No reason it wont work. I prepped one for my RX but ended up using one of the aftermarket ones so i had the indicator set buttons. After doing a rear disc conversion to my L wagon, with the big tyres on i could lock all the wheels if i stood real hard on the pedal, but the notice in pedal response was immediate after the swap.

Take the top radiator hose off and start the enigine if you have water pouring out of the top hose you dont have a thermostat in there put one in that works and try again. I get 10/100 in around town driving and the same with a loaded trailer on the highway but without trailer i get around the 8.5/100

Great stuff Wes, i didnt even take any photos as i saw the over abundance of cameras and thought there would be heaps of pics anyway.

I think the Hilux was bogged even better than Bretts wagon but due to the convienient location of Brett he was removed quicker.
