That's connected, turn on air cond and it increases the idle. Then hit the throttle and it moves further so the idle is way too fast (hope that makes some sense). Anyway, I've disconnected the vacuum advance and doesn't seem to be much of a problem and the fast idling is fixed so I'll leave it that ...

So on to the front, same arrangement, jack under the engine crossmember, stands in place. First undo the rod from the firewall to the engine (under the spare wheel). Brumby idle problem - help wanted
Since I fitted a new Webber to the standard EA81 I've had no end of issues trying to get the idle right. Now it is perfect without the A/C off but when that is turned on and acceleration applied, it idles really fast (does 60kph in 4th with no acceleration). Turn A/C off and it slows right down agai...
