Yep the old Performance mags on my L wagon (Same as old Pug 505 wheels) stick out past the body line like the proverbeal. When I got the RWC last month the Mechanic made mention of it, as I expected. So far no hassle from the fuzz bout it..

Thanks Sam will make some calls. Reason looking for spare flywheel is to have it machined and a kilo or 2 taken out. then have whole clutch/flywheel ASSY balanced, ready to fit minimising down time..

Only real rust prob was around the Fr windscreen apperture (usual story with these). had a nasty ding in tai...

I have the same thing on my EA82, but with a red cap, which was fitted by previous owner. Totally useless and only related to PCV system. Treat as guyph 01 said.

See picture attachd, Remove carbon canister for ease of access on drivers side. On pass side just forward of battery tray, nice n tight. Chassis rails, not behind indicators.

I agree with El Freddo. From personal experience, would check that all tyres are the same profile, i.e. 175/70 as 1 or 2 tyres bigger than others might cause this symptom.

Forget to mention, 14" by 6". offset clearly not suited to FWD/4WD, Definately designed for RWD (Peugot, Commys).
