re safety wiring; why not wire in an inertia switch as in new cars. Have done this on my electric Daihatsu as a requirement to cut power to motor contactors. Simple in line installation.

So thats a converted Subaru 360 towing another 360 on a trailer, which also has its own trailer! My mind is blown man! :p The mini trailer is similar to what EV'ers use.If the 360 on the trailer is an electric conversion then the small trailer is usually made from the front or rear section of a sim...

stupid me

Put battery in the Sherpa, checked oil, topped up radiator. Went for a lap around the paddock, parked it in the shed and later noticed oil dripping. I had not pushed the tiny dipstick fully home.. Dohh! It only takes 2.5L so i'll see how much I lost.

Correction.. saw gumtree ad ...KERMIT. Those early models were prone to front subframe rail failure , so hopefully it has had strengthening added to handle that power. That being said, it would probably be capable of being driven across Bass straight to the mainland.

Yes, it is a distributor, and what stands out is a lesson for us all. Do not put too much grease on the cam lobes. The plastic power connector is covered in grease. I wonder what the inside of the cap looked like?

I hope that it is a skilful photo shop job. If it is real then it needs a Warp 9 144v electric motor in the rear and then it would have a reason to exist as a useful hybrid.

I had the dubious privilege of owning a 49 side valve low-lite as my first car. A big issue would be the lack of strengh in the sub rails where the torsion bars mount.(copied still by jap suv's). Also the neanderthal suspension , which survived into the seventies on some models. But the idea of a lo...

It would require destroying the structural integrity of the vehicle and would need an engineers certificate. In nsw sometimes they require bringing the vehicle up to the latest ADR"s. Another way is to mount the body on something like a cruiser chassis, but then it's not a suby:rolleyes: Those of us...

Good idea, but not long term. My L EA82 appears to have a vent hole in the cap to allow for heat expansion and moisture expulsion.
