I just can’t fathom how you’re having so many issues with original sensors/parts etc. I’ve had engines and parts sitting around for long periods of time and when put into use they haven’t had an issue. What you’re experiencing goes against what I’d expect of genuine Subaru used parts in general. So...

Got a machinist mate of mine to make an adapter piece with the BSP thread for the oil pressure sender in one end, and he silver soldered it onto the EJ oil gallery hole plug. To post images you need to get a host site such as imagur (I don’t even know if that’s spelt correctly). Then pull the image code to drop it in here.
