b10 scan tool in work

so the tank has been cleaned. swirl some fuel in there, tip it out and let it dry. i switched the coolant temp sensor from my spare ej25 and while doing that noticed the crank sensor wiring was worn through to the wires past the sheilding, could be a reason for problems? well once the tanks dry and ...

yeah all rego'd, in SA you need to put "ea82" infront of the actual engine number. dont know why its recorded that way

well it runs fine.... untill it starts stuttering

as soon as i sort that it will be perfect, wouldnt make it up your drive way though

well i dont have one of those near by, spark plugs were normal coloured when i replaced them.

No, it hasn't thrown codes for a while since switching knock sensor. That's why I'm thinking not electrical

this is how it stands atm.

even if people have given up on this thread. im posting as a memo for future problems. so today i switched out the manual ecu for a spare auto ecu.... just to see fault was still there, after short drive. connect plugs listen to the relays click and fuel pump cycle, after a while the fuel pump note ...

well update time. (i really want this as a daily!) new leads-check new spark plugs-check swapped out coil for another one. problem is still there, once warm (or after a breif drive) it studders real bad at times. i pulled and cleaned the cam and crank angle sensors today, didnt help. all i can think...

no codes are thrown, ecu flashes constant which would be great if the car still wasnt stuttering under load when warm.

i have replaced the MAF and knock sensor. im hoping its not what im thinking.... but its not loosing coolant (that i know of)

In SA 50mm or 2" is the maximum allowed, it can include suspension and body but combined must not exceed 50mm.

Although I drove my L with a 3" lift plus suspension for years with no problems

yeah i've never ground a neutral switch in the past, im going to remove the iacv on saturday and give it a clean/inspection. i might disconnect my batt tomorrow for reconnection saturady after i do my iacv. that should clear it.
