And thinking about it the indicators don't cancel anymore so its either moved or grooved as your thread highlights.

The little spring steel arm with the points type contact is broken and I have no horn....some would say Viagra will fix it. So I need the little arm held on with 2 screws as Paul said. Is the little spring steel arm with the horn contact a separate unit from the indicator switch assembly or can it be replaced separately.
I am chasing a complete indicator assembly and the spring steel arm with the horn contact on it.

Anyone help

I would appreciate that I think replacement will be quicker and a damn site easier. Peter If it's an early 99 then it should have the stubs coming out of the front diff, if it's the later 99 then it won't have the stubs, as the front drive shafts will have male splines on the inner joint. Very rare ...

So many different opinions re the final drive.
I would be happier if it was a 3.9 as I drive on main highway into work every morning and the 3.9 is a taller gear for cruise.
There must be table somewhere stating the obvious....anyone
