The autobox in the Outback isn't what I would call "refined" but it's alright. Certainly not as bad as some I've come across, and not as good as a manual for speed. I've been using Penrite Synthetics all around and Neways Roil additives with great results.That's all been in EJ engines all round though. The 04 Outback will get the treatment when I get a moment.

Same rims as my old H6 Outback. They are awesome :) I think a small lift, just so you don't scrub the underside when you're down at the block. They don't need much.. maybe just 1" on the strut tops. No mods planned as yet. Maybe the usual nudge-bar, aerials and spotties if the deal arrives in-front of me. Not even planning a lift kit yet. For now, just enjoying the bliss of leather and climate/cruise control. ;) The more I look at those wheels, the better they seem to get. Might be my favourite...
